It’s official, we have entered that stage of the year when we are desperate for warmer temperatures and sunshine but the weather doesn’t seem to be playing along. This leaves us with the question: How do I dress for Spring? The trick is to transition away from heavy accessories to lighter weight, but still warm pieces. Soft pink was making itself known in AW17 but it is a natural for the SS season. It is a pretty colour that will work with all the pastel shades and is good set against denim.
This dove blue could be seen all over the catwalks following on from the obsession with blue and white stripes. All the blues of the spectrum are going to work this spring summer and this beautiful hue will work across an array of colours.
The mood for spring is definitely upbeat and light-hearted, and that could be easily seen via the sheer amount of yellow around as the season’s runaway runway trend. However bright and sunny, yellow is not for everyone so opt for a more muted version. Accessories offer the perfect way to accent your outfit and lift darker outfits into summer.
