Wedding Guest Outfit Inspiration

We love watching our friends and family come together to celebrate the marriage of two people in love. We love the venues, the food, the flowers, the drinks and of course the outfits! However, it's not easy, especially when you have a whole season of weddings to attend! We've all paced the high street and trawled the internet in search of the perfect wedding guest outfit. You want it to be glamorous, chic and comfortable and you want to be able to wear it more than once. You want to be able to move effortlessly from day to night, to go from the ceremony to Champagne and canapes and of course to the dancefloor! I think it is fair to say the bride sometimes has it easier than her guests! Here are some of our favourite looks for this year's Winter Wedding season and to how to accessorise them. Adding faux fur can totally transform your look.

Wear Black

Once frowned upon (and your great aunt may glare) you cannot deny the impact of a little black dress. But this time, go big! This Vampire's Wife Dress is perfect. Take it to the next level and accessorise with a Jet Stole. Our faux fur sits beautifully against Velvet, so many great textures!

Raid Your Wardrobe

Why not dig deep and discover something you have had for years. It's amazing what you can find and it means you get to splash out on the accessories! Our top wedding accessories are the Stole, Slim Vixen and Wrist Warmers

Big Prints

Ethical and luxury brand, Beulah (a favourite brand of Duchess of Cambridge) has made this beautiful outfit. Made from a jacquard fabric which means it will hold its volume and be weighty enough for a cold day. Accessorise with a light faux fur item for full impact. Here we have teamed it with our Dusky Pink Asymmetric scarf.

Stay Warm in Church

If the wedding is in a Church you might want to consider how warm it will be in winter. It's likely you will stay in your coat or need something warm. A Darcy Collar and Wrist Warmers will transform your existing coat, perfect for the church and for outdoor photos.
